Something I have been working on for the past few months.
Testing many different materials to get the approximate weight right. The first one is the heavy variant and is made from 316 Stainless Steel. This weight will give you the most recoil of the two. The second is made from Titanium. Many believe Titanium is lighter than Aluminum when in actual fact it is heavier. The standard Bolt Carrier weights are usually around 28 grams. Titanium comes in at roughly 46 grams and 316 Stainless roughly 82 grams when comparing identical parts.
We could have gone slightly heavier with Brass however the 316 Stainless is a more cost effective choice and is much harder wearing. I have not included a lighter weight as it simply didn’t make sense. I also kept the part simple. Although fancy rollers are cool they are just simply not needed on top of the roller that is present on the standard bolt carrier.
